MHA Consulting has been engaged by a major U.S. public utility provider to support the continued maturity of its enterprise Disaster Recovery (DR) program through clearer governance, oversight, and leadership-ready reporting.
In complex utility environments, disaster recovery expectations and readiness often span multiple technology domains. This engagement is designed to help create a more consistent, enterprise view of DR maturity across segregated support groups, including IT, OT, Telecom, CyberSecurity, and Water SCADA.
MHA Consulting will help define BCEM’s oversight responsibilities within the enterprise DR program and establish the DR governance role of the BCEM Steering Committee, including how readiness updates, escalations, and materials flow to and from leadership.
“Infrastructure reliability depends on more than technology, it depends on clear oversight and consistent expectations across the enterprise,” said Michael Herrera, CEO of MHA Consulting & BCMMetrics. “This work helps leadership see where readiness stands, align teams on what ‘good’ looks like, and protect essential services during disruption.”
The engagement will culminate in documented recommendations, policy review input, and a high-level roadmap to strengthen DR consistency, improve enterprise visibility, and support ongoing program maturity.
