MHA Consulting has been engaged by a leading U.S. services organization to develop an enterprise Business Continuity Plan (BCP) aimed at advancing the maturity and effectiveness of its resilience program. The engagement is designed to strengthen continuity capabilities across departments, ensuring the organization can maintain operations during unexpected disruptions.

The project will include a comprehensive review of business processes, systems, and recovery strategies, resulting in a high-level, organization-wide continuity plan aligned with industry standards and best practices. The plan will address crisis management, business and systems criticality, recovery strategies, IT disaster recovery, and supporting documentation to guide the organization’s response.

MHA’s structured four-phase approach includes initial planning, documentation of critical operations, plan validation, and a tabletop exercise to confirm readiness and ensure cross-departmental coordination.

“Business continuity is about preparation, not prediction,” said Michael Herrera, CEO of MHA Consulting. “By building a tested and actionable continuity plan, organizations gain the confidence and clarity needed to sustain operations and meet customer expectations when disruption occurs.”
